How to Set Up Any Decision for Success

I am a risk professional, strategist and forever student of uncertainty. For over 18 years, I have helped organisations meet and exceed their objectives thru intelligent risk-taking. This includes some of the world's most sophisticated organisations who operate in incredibly challenging environments.

However, my interest in risk and uncertainty goes beyond this. Risk and uncertainty are misunderstood. Often, we think of these things as areas to be avoided.

Nothing can be further from the truth. This is one of the reasons I started the acclaimed All Things Risk podcast which I love hosting and producing. It's also why I am bringing these courses to you.

To not take risk, to not embrace uncertainty is not to live. My personal philosophy is to "embrace uncertainty with wonder, wisdom, love and courage." If we we do that, we can have some amazing experiences and live incredibly fulfilling lives.

In addition to my professional career in risk management, I am an avid martial artist, cyclist, and runner. Through all these pursuits, I know full well that we perform through our minds as well as our bodies - and I bring this ethos to my courses.

I have written several articles and book chapters on risk, have appeared in many print, TV and radio media, including the BBC and the Financial Times. I'm also ever so slightly over-educated with Masters degrees in Finance and in International Relations and a BA in International Relations. I have lived and worked in 4 continents.
